What does the job look like?

Join our transport team as a Permanent Van Driver, playing a key role in delivering beverage products safely and efficiently across the Sydney metro network. You'll complete small-volume deliveries to pubs, clubs and other restricted-access customer sites, while also supporting customer returns and collections. This hands-on role requires a strong focus on safety, customer service and flexibility, along with confidence using technology such as tablets and digital delivery systems. To be successful, you'll be able to commit to a Tuesday to Friday roster, 5:00am to 3:00pm (4 x 10-hour roster) and enjoy working as part of a supportive, safety-focused team. Key areas:

  • Driving to Linfox Safety Standards and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
  • Safely and efficiently performing deliveries to stores, venues and/or warehouses.
  • Accurately completing and collecting all required documentation.
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox / Bevchain in a professional manner.
  • Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
  • Hand unload of packs and kegs (training provided)
  • Multi-drops

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

  • Current and valid C licence.
  • Familiarity with the Sydney metro area.
  • Responsible manual handling experience.
  • Electric Pallet Jack experience.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge – able to use a Tablet
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  •
