What does the job look like?

Linfox partners with Australia’s leading Resources and Industrial customers, delivering specialised logistics solutions across Western Australia and beyond. Our R&I West business continues to invest in its people, systems and equipment to support long‑distance, complex supply chain operations.

We are seeking a Management Accountant to support the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring strong financial governance across customer contracts, while partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, including contract performance and variance analysis
  • Support profit and loss reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting processes
  • Maintain general ledger integrity, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage customer invoicing, billing claims and revenue assurance activities
  • Provide financial analysis to support contract performance, projects and improvement initiatives
  • Partner with operations and finance leaders to meet reporting deadlines and improve systems and controls

Are you the one?

You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations and turning data into insight. You bring strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the confidence to communicate financial outcomes clearly and credibly.

You can demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years’ finance experience, including time in a Management Accountant role
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar field. 
  • Strong capability across financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proven experience with month‑end close and balance sheet management.
  • Experience in commercial or operational finance (transport, resources or supply chain desirable).
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with large ERPs (SAP highly regarded).
