What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler / Allocator to join our Resources & Industrial operation at Hazelmere, supporting PUD (Pick-Up & Delivery) services for major mining customers. This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who thrives in fast changing environments, can make quick, commercial decisions under pressure and enjoys being at the centre of daily transport activity.  Key areas:

  • End-to-end scheduling and despatch of a high-volume PUD fleet across a large operational footprint
  • Ownership of daily fleet and driver allocation, balancing service, safety, fatigue and commercial outcomes
  • Proactive management of customer delivery windows and operational issues
  • Working closely with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep freight moving
  • Use of SAP and related systems for scheduling, payroll and revenue capture

  • Proven experience scheduling or allocating in a high-volume transport or logistics environment
  • Confident making commercial and operational decisions in real time
  • Strong working knowledge of fatigue, CoR and transport compliance
  • Comfortable dealing directly with drivers and customers in a fast-moving operationLooking for a stable, long-term role with scale, complexity and responsibility
