What does the job look like?

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Despatch Coordinator to support the daily delivery, order management and customer service functions within our fast‑paced distribution environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic logistics setting, enjoys problem solving and is passionate about achieving strong service, safety and operational outcomes. 

The Despatch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer orders, allocating and dispatching deliveries, and ensuring all despatch activities are completed accurately, safely and on time. Key areas:
 
  • Manage customer order interfaces and compile orders into loads using the client’s systems.
  • Respond to customer service and contract telesales enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure daily despatch activities meet required deadlines, safety standards and customer expectations.
  • Capture, record and report KPI data for both Linfox and the customer.
  • Monitor pallet and keg movements and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Work closely with warehouse operations and transport teams to support efficiency and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork flow and contribute to process improvements.
  • Champion Linfox values and contribute to a safe, productive workplace.

Are you the one?

You are a motivated and organised team player who enjoys working in a busy operational environment. You can demonstrate:
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing or a related field.
  • Experience using operational systems (SAP desirable).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and general computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Professionalism, integrity and a strong alignment with Linfox values.
