What does the job look like?

The AM Inventory Controller will oversee site inventory activities, ensuring accurate usage, storage and stock integrity while aligning with operational plans. Reporting daily to the Inventory Manager, the role supports profitability through efficient processes and effective management of inventory performance. This is a Permanent Full-time Dayshift role and the hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm. Key areas:

  • Strict adherence to quality, compliance and company operation standards maintaining accuracy across all inventory-related processes.
  • Build and maintain strong customer engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, supporting smooth operational workflows and timely issue resolutions.
  • Oversee and coordinate importing and management of pallets, ensuring documentation accuracy and alignment with pallet policies and trade rules.
  • Conduct and document daily shift handovers, with clear communication of priorities, outstanding tasks and updates to maintain workflow continuity.

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

  • Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance requirements across all warehouse and inventory processes.
  • Similar and/or strong experience in the Transport/Logistics industry.
  • Proven capability to multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities and remain composed and effective in high pressure environments.
  • Skilled in SAP and WMS platforms with the ability to navigate and utilise systems effectively to support inventory accuracy.
  • A proactive and positive can-do attitude as well as self-motivation.
  • Analytical, methodical and process driven
