What does the job look like?

Our Intermodal Business Unit have opportunities for experienced counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our team in West Melbourne. In your new role you’ll support our Cross-Dock and Logistics operations, including loading and unloading trucks and containers, manual handling, and general warehouse duties. We currently have multiple casual day shift vacancies, with the following shift options with overtime available as required:

Key areas:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks and/or containers
• Putting safety first and working in alignment with our business goals and values
• Following all safety and handling procedures to reduce risk and ensure a safe environment
• Working independently while also contributing to a strong team environment

Are you the one? 

If you are a self-motivated individual who enjoys the fast paced environment of the Transport/Logistics industry, we can offer you training and career development opportunities to ensure you reach your potential. You can demonstrate:

• 3+ years of experience operating counterbalance forklifts within the transport/logistics industry
• Current High-Risk LF Forklift licence
• Prior experience loading/unloading trucks and containers 
• Own reliable transport 
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Desire to succeed and drive continuous improvement.
• Commitment to Linfox safety culture and values.
