What does the job look like?

Linfox partners with leading mining companies, providing specialised logistics services across the country. We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse receipting and loading operations for a highly-valued and long term mining customer.

This is a customer dedicated role, requiring a logistics leader experienced with loading & load restraint who is committed to high safety and compliance standards. Initially this will be offered as a 10-month max-term contract.  Key areas:

  • Supervise warehouse recieptors and forklift operators, ensuring safe and cost-effective outcomes are achieved for Linfox and the customer
  • Oversee loading areas to ensure ugly freight is loaded and restrained safely and in line with Linfox standards
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive culture amongst the team

Are you the one?

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic logistics leader who is passionate about best practice safety standards and confident in dealing with various freight profiles.  You can demonstrate:

  • Experience as a people leader in a supervisor role with ability to motivate and drive performance
  • Good understanding and experience with load restraint of ugly freight, Chain of Responsibility regulations with exposure to Dangerous Goods handling an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to relationship management
  • Passionate about driving a culture of best practice safety
