About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Services Leading Hand with a Carpentry Trade background to join our Lake Vermont team. This leadership position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience and a strong ability to manage small crews, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of site maintenance and service tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the site services team
• Carry out and supervise carpentry-related maintenance and construction work
• Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in compliance with site procedures
• Liaise with stakeholders to prioritise work and allocate resources effectively
• Maintain accurate records and update job progress in JDE or similar systems
• Promote and enforce safety-first culture among the crew

 About you

• Trade qualified carpenter (must hold a Carpentry Trade Certificate)
• Proven supervisory or leading hand experience in a similar role
• Current G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3) qualifications
• Experience using JDE or other maintenance management systems (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
