ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently searching for a Site Administrator to join our Caval Ridge team. Caval Ridge Mine is based 20kms out of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.

Working a 9 day fortnight, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site administration functions in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing fortnightly employee payroll.
  • Creating requisitions and maintaining accounts payable workflow.
  • Collaborating with key suppliers in relation to any procurement queries.
  • Processing stationary orders, site consumable orders, purchase orders, uniform orders, expense claims, credit card reconciliations and any adhoc requests.
  • Maintaining and updating the site digital directory and forms platform.
  • Supporting the travel team with adhoc accommodation and flight bookings.
  • Preparing monthly accruals and assisting with adhoc end of month tasks within required deadlines.

ABOUT YOU

This position is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the mining or an allied industry and has the following skills:

  • Strong administration experience with exposure to mining environment being highly regarded
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages 
  • Proficiency in JDE or equivalent business procurement system – advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude 
  • Time management and the ability to prioritising tasks and meet deadlines
  • The ability to work harmoniously with other people of various backgrounds
