The Opportunity
As a key member of the Indonesia Capability Hub team, you'll be responsible for supporting operational technology solutions (infoMINE, iVolve, Wenco etc.)
As an Engineer Operations Technology, you will:
- Perform troubleshoot and investigate system issues and identify root cause
- Provide recommendations for appropriate and timely resolution
- Identify and escalate urgent/major issues to minimise impact on operations
- Communicate system issues and updates with key users
- Use the Thiess Service Now platform to manage support incidents as per service level agreements (SLAs)
- Identify system improvements through auditing, training and system support processes and make recommendations on possible solutions or enhancements
- Develop and update standard training documentation, e-learning modules and other resources for operations technology solutions
- Support development - Review prototypes and provide feedback to developers as required
- Participate in or lead new application deployments, system implementations, or major system enhancement projects in accordance with project management methodology
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related field (eg, Engineering, Computer Science) preferred
- Train the Trainer competency (small groups) preferred
- Experience working in an environment that supports and develops corporate wide systems
- Experience providing user system support and systems analysis
- Preferable: experience within a mining or equipment maintenance industry
- High level of communication skills, with ability to work with technical and non-technical staff
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of database and SQL queries
- Working/intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Sharepoint, Power BI, etc.
