What you’ll do

Reporting to the Lead, Performance & Reward, you will partner with People teams and business stakeholders to deliver compensation and benefits practices aligned to organisational frameworks and local regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on role focused on operational delivery, governance and stakeholder support, with exposure across salary reviews, job evaluation, benchmarking and benefits administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide advice to HR Business Partners and leaders on remuneration, salary packages, job evaluation and benefits
  • Support and execute annual salary, bonus and performance review cycles in line with global processes
  • Maintain job evaluation frameworks, role classifications and internal equity across the organisation
  • Conduct market benchmarking and support remuneration reviews using external data and surveys
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, awards and remuneration governance requirements
  • Support the delivery and adaptation of benefits programs to align with local market conditions and employee needs
  • Respond to payroll and reward-related queries, ensuring accurate and consistent outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support effective rollout of reward frameworks and initiatives

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You have experience in compensation and benefits, reward or broader HR, with a strong understanding of remuneration processes and frameworks.

You will also bring:

  • Experience supporting remuneration reviews, job evaluation and salary benchmarking
  • Understanding of Australian employment legislation, awards and reward governance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and remuneration insights
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors) and solid Excel capability
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the business
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
