What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Analyst to join our Group Finance team. Reporting to the Manager, Group Finance Systems, this role plays a key part in enabling accurate, insightful reporting and improving finance processes, data quality and governance across the business.
In this role, you will enable accurate, timely and insightful reporting primarily across OneStream – our financial consolidation and reporting application, while driving improvements to finance processes, data quality and governance. You will play a key part in fostering a data‑driven decision-making culture and supporting the continuous optimisation of our financial systems environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support and maintain reporting tools, dashboards and analysis solutions, primarily within OneStream.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to deliver high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose reporting aligned to business needs.
- Translate business requirements into integrated system solutions across platforms such as OneStream, ServiceNow, SAP Concur, JDE, ReportsNow, Fabric and Excel.
- Drive best practice in data extraction, reporting, information flow and automation to enhance system capability.
- Design functional specifications and execute testing processes including SIT, UAT and production approval.
- Analyse and document current (“as‑is”) processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the design of optimised (“to‑be”) processes.
- Develop and deliver training and governance materials, ensuring process‑level controls and compliance requirements are met.
- Apply project management methodologies to deliver initiatives on time and support standardisation and continuous improvement across the group.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a proactive individual who brings strong analytical capability, curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset. You will be confident working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, with a strong ability to translate business needs into practical, high‑quality solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Operations or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement or operations analysis.
- Experience with process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS) and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Fabric and Excel.
- Experience with VBA, Python, DAX and SQL (advantageous).
- Experience developing interactive dashboards.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
- A solutions-focused approach with a drive for quality outcomes.
