What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Analyst to join our Group Finance team. Reporting to the Manager, Group Finance Systems, this role plays a key part in enabling accurate, insightful reporting and improving finance processes, data quality and governance across the business.
In this role, you will work across multiple finance and enterprise systems, developing reporting solutions, data pipelines and automation, while collaborating closely with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver fit‑for‑purpose insights that support data‑driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance teams to develop, maintain and enhance reporting, analysis tools and dashboards aligned to business requirements.
- Build, support and optimise data pipelines in Databricks to enable dashboards and analytical solutions across multiple platforms.
- Translate business problems into clear user and functional requirements for integrated finance and enterprise system solutions.
- Support and enhance financial systems including JDE, Insight, OneStream, ReportsNow, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, SAP Concur and Excel.
- Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of data lakehouse and analytics environments.
- Develop functional specifications and execute testing activities, including UAT and production approval.
- Analyse, document and improve business processes, identifying inefficiencies and supporting the design and implementation of streamlined solutions.
- Develop governance artefacts, training materials and controls, and contribute to data governance practices, standardisation and KPI tracking.
What you’ll bring
You will bring strong analytical capability, a solutions‑focused mindset and proven experience working at the intersection of finance, data and systems. You are confident engaging with stakeholders across Finance and Technology, translating business needs into practical, high‑quality solutions, and managing multiple priorities in a complex environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Operations or a related discipline, with 5+ years’ experience in a business analyst, data analyst or operations analyst role.
- Experience using process modelling and delivery tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS, Jira, Trello), with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Intermediate to advanced capability in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Excel, with experience developing interactive dashboards and analytical reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of VBA, Python, DAX and SQL highly regarded, alongside excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
