This role is Brisbane-based, with flexibility available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply correct version control, naming conventions and document standards, ensuring only approved documents are accessible.
  • Coordinate document lifecycle activities, including reviews, updates, and approvals.
  • Audit compliance with QLD and NSW legislative requirements and support project documentation compliance.
  • Lead and support regional assurance activities, contributing to corporate audit programs and corrective action management.
  • Enhance HS reporting systems and deliver timely, quality data that informs decision‑making.
  • Develop and monitor lead and lag indicators, supporting improvements in HS metrics, communications, and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Lead strategic HS improvement projects and act as a subject matter expert in ISO45001/AS45001 systems, partnering with leaders and SMEs to drive system improvements.

You will bring:

  • Strong working knowledge of Queensland and New South Wales mining legislation.
  • Proven experience in HS assurance programs, reporting, data systems and HS communications.
  • High‑level communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence presenting and influencing across all levels.
