ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our next FMS Technology & Communications Technician, reporting to the Autonomy & Technology Superintendent, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
The Lake Vermont Coal Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, install and commission various wifi, radio and wireless systems.
- Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of the following systems:
- Fleet Monitoring Systems
- Site telecommunications
- Wifi links & wireless networks
- Autonomous fleet networks
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System
- Respond to breakdowns on site FMS and autonomous equipment and networks
- Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilization

ABOUT YOU:
- At least 5 years industry experience with fleet monitoring systems and telecommunications.
- A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a world-class team to deliver excellence for our clients

- Current Standard 11
- Current drivers licence
- Relevant coal mining certifications
