About the role
This role is responsible to provide Health & Safety functional support to Sites towards achieving; the safety objective of “Everyone Safe Everyday”, compliance with the company policy and procedures, and to meet legislative requirements.
In this role, you will:
- Represent the company in government or industry safety groups and programs
- Responsible to facilitate the health and safety of employees through education, training and demonstration of the right behaviours
- Manage relationship with Projects and their subcontractors to facilitate compliance to Thiess safety systems
- Direct, instruct and mentor project staff to ensure that Synergy database is utilised, accurate, and up to date
- Ensure KPI’s are reported monthly and take action to address areas of non-achievement of KPI’s
About you
- Tertiary-level qualifications in a safety, engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a same role (in Client relations, Subcontract management, Project management)
- Good time management
- Good written & oral communications and presentation formatting skills
