About the role
This role is responsible to develop plant rates and maintenance cost estimates for tenders, carry out adjustment of plant rates on existing projects for break-even result, and complete asset life reviews.
In this role, you will:
- Provide asset inputs for the tender build up including but not limited to the asset rates, asset labour rates, capital requirements, cash flow inputs, mobilisation & demobilisation costs, and facilities requirements
- Liaise with Planning Support to assist with the development of life asset strategies
- Liaise with OEM’s and Thiess content experts to ensure asset rates are in line with most accurate cost
- Review project asset financial results and assist projects with developing and understanding their budgets
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of Estimating through development of the tools utilised
About you
- Trade Qualified or University Degree
- 1-3yrs experience in operational role/s
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Macro/VBA experience would be beneficial
