What you’ll do

Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted training programs, managing enterprise bargaining agreements, and investigating and resolving workplace complaints and conflicts. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by fostering positive workplace relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support the implementation of the group-wide Employee and Industrial Relations strategy.
  • Execute proactive employee relations initiatives to build engagement and capability.
  • Respond to union activity and assist in resolving industrial disputes, including representation in tribunals.
  • Participate in enterprise bargaining activities, including negotiation preparation and contract administration.
  • Conduct and manage investigations into workplace grievances or concerns.
  • Deliver in-house training and provide day-to-day advice on Employee and Industrial Relations matters.
  • Liaise with external legal providers as required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You hold tertiary qualifications in law or industrial relations and bring proven experience in managing investigations, enterprise bargaining, and compliance processes. Your strong knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation enables you to apply legal principles in a practical, commercially effective way. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business, ensuring collaborative and positive outcomes.
