About The Role
We are currently seeking a Training Administrator to join our QCoal Northern Hub; situated about 100km South-west of Bowen in the friendly lifestyle location of the beautiful Whitsunday Coast of Queensland and only a few minutes from the township of Collinsville.
Some key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- liaising with field trainers and supervisors to identify training needs.
- aid in new training programmes and to align with training/organisation goals.
- responding to queries from staff about training.
- evaluating the effectiveness of training and reporting on this to line up leaders.
- ensuring training materials are accurate and up to date.
- working with learning management systems to upload online learning materials, evaluate completion and troubleshoot problems.
- help in ensuring employees receive statutory required training.
- keeping up to date with learning trends
- Communicate with trainers via written correspondence about schedules of training
- Undertake monitoring of regulatory compliance of employers, s to ensure the required standards are being met
- Prepare correspondence, briefings and reports to support the effective operations of the training department
- Provide accurate and timely information and advice
- Recognise and report misconduct and inappropriate behaviour
- Identify issues that may hinder the completion of tasks and find appropriate solutions
About You
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- Exposure to administrative roles within a resources, construction, or similar industry
- Working towards Certificate IV in Training and Assessment advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong Excel skills) and SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines, continuous improvement and delivering results
- Ability to work well in a high-volume busy work environment
