About the role
As our business continues to expand, we have a great opportunity for a Manager – New Work to lead the New Work team in the development, delivery and commercial strategies of proposals studies and tenders.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Head of New Work and Business Development Managers to define the regional new work strategy;
- Lead the development of prospect value propositions, project delivery models and opportunity selection;
- Manage, coordinate and prioritise resource allocation to achieve the strategic objectives of each opportunity;
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and disseminate best practice processes for project tendering and new customer engagement.
About you
- Demonstrated success in development of projects from concept to contract execution within mining or mining related fields.
- Excellent understanding of the operational aspects and key business drivers and commercial aspects of contract mining
- Possess strong mine planning, estimating and budget/forecast development processes of contract mining
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to understand complex business issues and how these relate to performance and financial outcomes
- Hold a tertiary degree in Mining Engineering or other applicable discipline.
