About the role

Our Lake Vermont Project, situated in Dysart, North Queensland is currently seeking a Serviceperson to join their Maintenance department.

As our next Serviceperson, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor working a 7/7 even time roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Working a 7/7 day/night shift roster you will be required to:

  • Service heavy earthmoving equipment in both the field environment and within workshop when required
  • Maintain the plant safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct refuelling operations and assist fitters where required
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
  • General workshop duties

About you 

  • Mechanical trade or equivalent (desirable)
  • Prior experience working as a serviceperson on a mine site (highly regarded)
  • Current RIISM212D or RIISM212E
  • Demonstrated experience working in the mining and/or heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
  • Current Standard 11 and advantage
  • HR driver’s licence preferable
  • Working at Heights, EWP (High Risk), Forklift (High Risk), Confined Space and Franna ticket would be highly desirable.
