About the role

Thiess is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our Payroll Transformation Program. In this crucial role, you will be the linchpin of our project team, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure the seamless execution of our payroll transformation initiatives. We're looking for a proactive individual who excels at coordinating complex activities, maintaining meticulous documentation, and supporting effective communication across the project team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving operational excellence in payroll systems, this opportunity to make a significant impact on our global operations could be perfect for you. 

Additionally, you will:   

  • Provide administrative support, including project coordination and document control 
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and reporting 
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain project records, and track deliverables and deadlines 
  • Liaise with global stakeholders on project-related matters 
  • Support risk management and maintain project data in internal systems (e.g., Jira) 

 

About you

You are a results-driven professional with a proven track record in planning, monitoring, and tracking project deliverables, status, and outcomes. Your strong organisational and time management skills enable you to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring that projects stay on track. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can work independently and collaboratively within a team. Your proactive approach and attention to detail make you an asset in driving project success and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team. 

Additionally, you have: 

  • Proven experience working in a project management context. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management software is highly desirable (Jira preferable). 
  • Familiarity with HRIS and/or Payroll projects is advantageous.
