This Senior Analyst plays a critical role within the Model Activate & Analytics team, part of the broader Pricing & Analytics Department. This position is responsible for leveraging advanced actuarial techniques and a deep understanding of the pricing ecosystem to design, recommend, and implement effective pricing solutions. The role is instrumental in supporting the business by ensuring that pricing outcomes align to customer and business expectations, primarily focusing on NICHE business, with additional support for other products as required. 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Performance monitoring that analyse premium, Claims trends and market position trends.
  • Monitor key performance metrics for various pricing factors within designated portfolios
  • Work on pricing modelling in timely manner and indicates the movement.
  • Deliver insights and end-to-end pricing initiatives by working with Pricing, Portfolio, Actuarial, Finance, Claims and Distribution
  • Develop pricing recommendations and proposals designed to closely align pricing strategy to Niche brand’s budget and implement price changes timely and accurately within the business/function.
  • Assist the Senior Pricing Advisors, Pricing Managers & Team members to perform pricing implementation including emulation, testing and impact analysis.

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 12 months' industry experience in General Insurance, ideally in Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, or portfolio management 
  • In-depth knowledge of Product and Pricing for key business drivers 
  • Solid understanding of finance, budgeting/forecasting, and report analysis 
  • Minimum 12 months as an analyst in a similar domain, demonstrating team collaboration and achievement 
  • Some familiarity with Earnix Optimisation.
