As an Infrastructure & Energy Associate, you will work in a fast-paced and unstructured environment, with a dynamic work schedule. You will create and edit client presentations, memorandum and other marketing materials and with your strong research and analytical skills, you will summarize and present the results in a succinct manner.
As an Infrastructure and Energy Associate with 3-5 years of experience, you will utilize your expertise in financial modeling, project finance, conventional energy and midstream to lead financial analysis and valuation. You will also be involved in the preparation of sector and market research analysis, participate in diligence processes, prepare transaction documentation, as well as lead, design and produce presentations, information memorandums and other analysis for internal (investment and risk committees) and external audiences (clients, investors, lenders and project developers).
Leveraging your previous experience within the Infrastructure and/or Energy sector, you will support our Houston Infrastructure & Energy team. You will bring experience in at least one of the following areas: Investment Banking, Project Finance, Principal Investing, or Corporate Business Development, and you must have proficiency in generating valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and trading and transaction comparables.
Having proficiency in building detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures will also be paramount to your success in this role. Further, having familiarity with all stages of energy and infrastructure transaction executions, including origination, diligence, and execution of equity, debt, and M&A transactions is also necessary.
FINRA exams are required or must be obtained within 6 months (SIE, S79, S63 as applicable).
