Senior Manager - Regulatory Legal & Compliance Manager

Sydney

Work closely with senior stakeholders to advise and manage compliance to the Banking and Executive Accountability Regime and other regulatory regimes in the Corporate Operations Group. This will include maintaining Accountability Statements and Compliance Plans, validating ongoing compliance, advising on the implementation of the regimes, performing risk assessments and gap analysis and communicating changes to the Leadership Team.

We would expect you to have a background in Legal or Compliance and a strong understanding of the points in the Royal Commission and the Banking and Executive Accountability Regime and know how to apply them.  You will have the ability to use your judgement, make commercial decisions and be able to apply and assess detailed regulation using a holistic approach. You will have experience of being a key contact point for legal or compliance advice and have the ability to identify risks in a variety of commercial situations coupled with previous experience of interpreting legislation, providing advice to stakeholders and implementing frameworks and policies to meet the legislative requirements.
