Weekend Survivor Advocate Los Angeles
Project SAFE (Project for a Sexual Assault-Free Environment) is Occidental College’s gender-based violence prevention, advocacy, and training program and is a part of the Emmons Student Wellness Center in the Division of Student Affairs. Under supervision of the Project SAFE Director, the Project SAFE Survivor Advocate is responsible for direct-service advocacy work with students, providing trauma-informed services on a part-time, weekend schedule. This is a 24 hours/week, 9 month position working weekend hours during the academic school year.
Social Science and Data Literacy Librarian Los Angeles
The Occidental College Library is seeking a dynamic Social Sciences and Data Literacy Librarian (SSDLL) to join our Teaching, Learning, and Research Support (TLRS) team. The Librarian will play a critical role in furthering the Library’s Information Literacy Instruction (ILI) program and supporting the College's Social Sciences departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career librarian. We will provide the incumbent with on-the-job training, mentorship, and other professional development. Reporting to the Director of TLRS, the SSDLL will develop, deliver, and support scholarly information resources and digital technologies for the Social Sciences. The incumbent will focus on ILI objectives and provide support for students and faculty through teaching classes and workshops, providing consultations, and developing online guides and tutorials. The SSDLL will conduct ILI in multiple modalities; offer reference services; participate in supporting scholarly communication and digital initiatives; engage in outreach to faculty, students, staff, and community partners; select scholarly information resources for acquisition; provide disciplinary, pedagogical, and academic technology support services; and engage in programmatic activities and events, such as exhibitions, presentations, and publications.
Associate Director for Racial Equity Los Angeles
The Associate Director for Racial Equity will implement services and programs that promote mental health and well being through a multicultural lens for racially marginalized students, with a particular emphasis on African American/Black students. The Associate Director will cultivate and offer services that are culturally appropriate; that positively impact campus climate for students from racially marginalized populations, in particular African American/Black students; that facilitates connections between access, success, and social justice; that cultivates healthy communities through programs that nurture the education of the whole person (intellectual, social, interpersonal, spiritual, and civic responsibility) among racially marginalized groups. Prospect Research Analyst Hybrid
The Prospect Research Analyst reports to the Associate Director of Prospect Management & Research, and serves a key role in the identification, qualification, and research of major/planned gift prospects, requiring the ability to: gather, summarize, and disseminate large volumes of information from numerous sources; make recommendations for solicitation strategies; attend events and engagements as required; and compose prospect briefings and profiles. Associate Controller Los Angeles

Residential Director Los Angeles
The Department of Residential Education and Housing Services fosters safe, inclusive, and educational residential environments. It intentionally challenges and supports students to embrace global citizenship, civility, and self-accountability both on and off campus. The Resident Director (RD) is a 10 1/2-month live-in position responsible for the overall administration of co-educational residential communities. RDs will provide direct supervision to a paraprofessional staff of 11-18 and a set of residential communities ranging from 315-515 undergraduates (with a total on-campus population of 1670 undergraduates). Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator Los Angeles
Occidental College is looking for a licensed psychologist with training and experience working with young adult populations. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator provides direct counseling and psychotherapeutic services to undergraduate students. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will additionally serve to oversee and supervise the current limited post-doctoral training program in conjunction with the Department of Disability Services. In addition to the post-doctoral program, the Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Director of Counseling to create and implement a Master’s level practicum program within the Emmons Wellness Center. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will serve as the second in charge of the Counseling Center Services. The position is 12 months in length. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator reports to the Director of Counseling Services.
