Job Description:

The Program Coordinator in the Registrar's Office oversees all aspects of the university's in-state residency application processes. The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and exercising functional authority for the review and approval/denial of requests for administrative/medical adjustments, including but not limited to, schedule adjustments, withdrawals, and dropped classes for extenuating circumstances (e.g. death in the immediate family, military service). This position also coordinates the appeal process for applications reviewed by the Administrative Adjustment Appeals Committee, the Tuition Guarantee Appeals Committee, and the Residency Appeals Committee. Additionally, the Program Coordinator supports other Registrar-related processing, initiatives, and implementations, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.
Immediate to advanced knowledge or ability to master common campus-specific computer applications.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations across campus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must demonstrate proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and possess strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize, strategically plan, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions and change of focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience at an accredited educational institution in an admissions/records/college office preferred.
