About the role:
We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to join our team in the Kress Ward, a 25-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You’ll be working alongside a fantastic multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health professionals, all focused on helping our patients achieve their personal rehabilitation goals. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, providing care, administering medications, and ensuring each person feels supported and comfortable throughout their recovery journey.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll work closely with patients recovering from a range of conditions, providing both physical and emotional care as they rebuild their independence. You’ll have the chance to contribute to creating tailored rehabilitation programs that truly make a difference in people’s lives. What we are looking for:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with at least 12 months' experience in an acute care setting.
- Ability to commit to a full-time rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in providing patient-centred care and contributing to personalised rehabilitation plans.
- Functional Independence Measure (FIM) qualification is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A compassionate, professional approach to care, with a genuine passion for supporting patients on their rehabilitation journey.
