- Salary: $109,079 to $113,933 p.a. + Salary Packaging (up to $18,550)
Rocky Bay are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Interdisciplinary teams across the Perth metro area.
Established for over 80 years, Rocky Bay is a leading provider of disability services offering choice and independence to thousands of children and adults living with disability in Western Australia.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop Dietetic services funded by the NDIS and Medicare
- Deliver individualised client-centred interventions to customers at our hubs and in community based settings including group homes
- Work collaboratively to achieve clinical excellence
- Contribute to innovate service improvements by ‘Looking for Better Ways’
- Be a part of a diversified and progressive disability service organisation
Your case-list will consist of a wide age range of people with a disability from paediatrics to adults with varying complexity and diagnoses to provide you with opportunities for ongoing clinical skill development.
Geographic Teams
Supporting local geographic teams, you will work collaboratively to deliver interdisciplinary services that support people with disability to achieve their goals and potential.
To be considered for this position you will be required to demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service that meets individual goals
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Dietitian
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Well-developed clinical reasoning skills, that are solution-focused
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with customers, key stakeholders and team members
- Personal resilience working in a changing environment
Mandatory Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised institution
- Membership as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with Dietitians Australia
- National Police Clearance (3 months)
- Current Working with Children check
- Eligibility for Medicare Provider Number
- Current WA driver’s licence
- Current Flu Vaccination or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Workers Screening & orientation module
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- Experience working with individuals with a disability of all ages with a working knowledge of enteral nutrition guidelines
- Experience working with a paediatric caseload
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
