Rocky Bay, a leading disability service provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our dynamic leadership team as a Team Leader - Supported Accommodation (Duncraig). This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity for an individual who is driven to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of dedicated Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and upholding Rocky Bay's commitment to quality and best practices.

What you will bring to the Rocky Bay Team

  • Capable of leading and managing a diverse staff team to maintain high levels of performance and customer service delivery.  Supporting and modelling a proactive and productive working environment whilst championing a strong positive culture.
  • Ideally have experience in Disability Supported Accommodation/Living Leadership position with a positive hands-on approach to communicate effectively with individuals and their families/carers.
  • Hold excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated broad and diverse team culture experience.
  • Demonstrate you can communicate with all levels of the organisation in a prompt, professional, articulate and approachable manner.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of NDIS funding, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding governance and will demonstrate an inclusive person-centred approach, understanding the importance of providing choice and control.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Active Support principles of identifying and supporting independent skills and promoting choice and control for customers in their own home and be able to promote and model these principles to your staff.
  • Have a passion for seeing people reach their potential.
  • Understand this leadership position has required admin, compliance, reporting and general paperwork.  Sound IT skills are essential.
  • Be a people person who can swiftly build positive and trusting relationships with your staff team, your customers, their families and other stakeholders.
  • Understand and demonstrate the core values of Rocky Bay in every aspect of your role.
