Rocky Bay is looking for a talented and motivated Analytics and Reporting Analyst to join its dynamic and agile Business Transformation team.
You will bring contemporary practices to the team whilst developing your professional skills. The role will operate in a complex environment, and you will excel at balancing structure, discipline and habits with flexibility, adaptability, and agility in order to meet strategic needs in a rapidly changing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the business in selecting strategic KPIs and guiding them to design and develop analytics reports to monitor these.
- Setting data collection and analysis processes and utilising various reporting tools and technologies to help solve business problems.
- Supporting engagement with all business stakeholders to gather requirements and design analytics products.
- Working in a close team of 2 coworkers to co-develop solutions, present to the business and develop these solutions in collaboration with affected stakeholders.
- Working with adjacent Business Transformation departments to ensure single source of truth for reporting, security, and integration with all existing and new systems.
- Work with stakeholders to implement and lead data governance and controls.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement simplification and automation where viable.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Substantial experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present in a clear and actionable manner best practice frameworks and building enterprise reporting suite of metrics
- Friendly, dynamic personality with a growth mindset for continuous learning and improvement. A key personality trait of helping others and your organisation through data enabled decision making
- Experience working with leading and modern data platform and visualisations tools
- Experience delivering analytics projects in a complex business environment
