Program Specialist - TRiO Educational Opportunity Center SLCC – New Iberia
The Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting the coordination of day-to-day operations of the Education Opportunity Center through a variety of administrative activities, records management, and data analysis. This position will participate in the generation of program resources and in the design and development of program operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Job duties include entering participant information into the data management system, keeping accurate records to track enrolled-participants’ progress through activities, preparing data reports and conducting initial data analysis, and ensuring program compliance with state and federal regulations. This position works under the direct supervision of the EOC Program Manager. This position is funded by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The Education Outreach Specialist will be responsible for providing services that extend outreach where gaps exist in college enrollments due to various factors, such as academic, financial, social, and psychological challenges. Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development SLCC – Lafayette
The Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development (VPEWD) reports to the Chancellor and has the primary responsibility for providing strategic leadership, direction and management for all efforts related to non-credit education and training.
