Provide individual, couple, and group short-term mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and outreach, education and campus programs for Ferris State University (FSU) students as part of a required graduate internship. Interns will be provided with compensation to assist with the costs of their internship at $13 per hour for up to 600 hours. This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position to provide operational and maintenance support for the Shimadzu Core Laboratory (SCL) until 8/31/26. Working with chemical analysis and familiarity with a wide range of analytical equipment including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometers and NMR. Advanced Chemical Analyst (Full-Time/Temporary)	Big Rapids, MI 49307
This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position to provide operational and maintenance support for the Shimadzu Core Laboratory (SCL) until 8/31/26. Working with chemical analysis and familiarity with a wide range of analytical equipment including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometers and NMR. Core responsibilities, under the direction of the SCL Director, will include supervising student workers on various projects using scientific instruments such as HPLC-MS and NMR, administering training for students and faculty in laboratory safety regulatory compliance and instrument usage, overseeing instrument maintenance and repair, and ordering of supplies as well as general office work. The anticipated start date of this position is March 2025; however this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
