Provide administrative leadership and management of student recruiting activities for the University’s academic programming. This position will engage in a variety of recruiting activities, including regional and national travel, high school visits, career fairs, portfolio reviews, and recruitment events. The position also includes providing general information about academic programs, and ensuring prospective students are informed about admissions processes, housing, scholarships, and financial aid opportunities. The Admissions Recruiter will help meet enrollment goals and act as the primary contact for prospective students. This role reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions Services. Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Valid driver's license required. Experience in student recruitment, marketing, public relations, or customer relations. |

The Preparator will work closely with the Exhibitions Curator to produce high-quality exhibitions. The Preparator assists in planning, preparation, security, installation, and de-installation of gallery exhibitions and other display materials. Key responsibilities include; training and supervision of temporary work crews and student gallery workers on gallery installations, preparation and maintenance of exhibitions, storage, and preparatory spaces. Required: BA or BFA in Art, Art History, Museum Studies, BA in Design, or related field. Scissor Lift Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire. At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in art handling, gallery/museum work, or fabrication/installation, with an emphasis on preparation/installation strongly preferred. |

Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI, prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. Responsibilities for a KCAD adjunct faculty member include syllabus and class preparation, instruction during scheduled course time, providing reasonable availability to students for consultation and assistance with respect to assigned course(s), evaluation of student performance, submission of final grades on the FSU Banner system, and archiving of both course material and student work as requested by the program chair and/or the Dean of the College. The mission of the Graphic Design program of Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) is to graduate problem-solving, critical-thinking design innovators and creative communicators who are skilled in the latest technology, able to work collaboratively in a studio environment, and are passionate about art, design, and contemporary culture. Teaching assignments within the BFA Graphic Design Program include a series of introductory to intermediate design-related content and software/technology-based courses, for example, introductory and immediate typography, publication design and production management, and contemporary media (web and application design). Courses are to be taught in person on KCAD’s campus in Grand Rapids, MI. Online course delivery may be an option. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment.
