| Summary of Position: |
Under the supervision of the Student Engagement Administrator/Entertainment Unlimited Advisor, the Entertainment Unlimited (EU) Student Assistant is responsible for assisting with campus events from brainstorming, planning, advertising, event facilitation and evaluation. This position requires sound judgment and decision making in the absence of EU Advisor. The Student Assistant should be familiar with campus programing trends, student interests and creative marketing strategies.
This position will be expected to work about 12 hours a week and have a flexible schedule that will include business hours and evenings with an occasional weekend.

| Position Requirements: |
• Must have or currently are an active member of Entertainment Unlimited for at least one semester. • Be in Good Standing Academically (not on Academic Probation or Academic Warning) • As an individual who is responsible for driving on behalf of the university, a driving record check will be run pursuant to university policies. The individual will be required to sign an authorization to run a criminal history background and driving record check. • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Canva |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
• Attend and lead all weekly EU General Assembly and executive board meetings. • Operate within the provided programing budget and follow all University policies and procedures related to purchasing event supplies. • Actively support, attend, and promote CSI and EU programs and events. • Regularly monitor the progress of ongoing events, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring all events meet the highest standards of student engagement and quality. • Contribute to the ongoing recruitment and retention of EU members by promoting involvement opportunities and welcoming new participants throughout the academic year. • Generate appropriate advertising and marketing for assigned EU events, subject to approval of the Student Engagement Administrator. • Participate in promotional and event-related public appearances, including being featured in photo/video content for marketing purposes, introducing performers, and speaking in front of live audiences as needed. • Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanness of assigned office space. • Provide support for the successful planning and execution of campus events and internal initiatives, ensuring alignment with EU’s mission, and values. Complete all assigned responsibilities and meet deadlines as communicated by the Student Engagement Administrator. • Work as part of a cohesive team with all members of Entertainment Unlimited and the Center for Student Involvement. • Evaluate the success of each event, gather feedback from students, and make recommendations for future programming based on feedback and budget availability. • Operate a University vehicle to purchase event supplies and/or transport artists. • Operates university motor or personal vehicles safely while carrying out job responsibilities. • Maintain confidentiality with various aspects of the position |
