| Summary of Position: |
The Campus Recreation Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across social media platforms to promote programs, events, facilities, and services. This position plays a key role in increasing student engagement, brand awareness, and participation in campus recreation activities. |

| Position Requirements: |
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience managing organizational social media accounts. • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools). • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Availability to work evenings or weekends for event coverage as needed. • Knowledge of social media analytics tools. • Photography and/or video editing experience. • Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related major. |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
• Create and publish engaging content (graphics, photos, videos, reels, stories) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X. • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with program schedules and marketing campaigns. • Attend events and programs to capture real-time content. • Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner. • Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports with engagement metrics and growth insights. • Collaborate with program coordinators to promote intramurals, club sports, fitness and wellness events, special events, and facility updates. • Ensure all content aligns with university branding guidelines. • Stay current on social media trends and recommend new strategies to increase engagement. |
