Advertised Salary: $12.48- $13.24  
Summary of Position: This student staff position will focus on programming, support, and outreach for specific historically marginalized communities within LGBTQ+ communities, such as transgender people, disabled people, or same gender loving, Two Spirit, and other LGBTQ+ people who are Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color. This position will report to the LGBTQ+ Resource Center Coordinator with support from the Office of Multicultural Student Services and work closely with LGBTQ+ and other student groups as needed, possibly including but not limited to DSAGA, the BSU, YBBW, HSO, Aegis, ASO, the Circle of Tribal Nations, or others.  
Position Requirements: - Experience with racially and culturally diverse communities and LGBTQ issues required
- Previous work experience or the equivalent with diverse populations required
- An academic background in feminist studies, ethnic studies, LGBTQ studies, critical race analysis, or similar topics is a plus but not required.
 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Will be attending Multicultural Student Council meetings once a month and LGBTQ+ Resource Center staff meetings once a week as well as regularly scheduled meetings or events such as one on ones with the LGBTQ+ Resource Center Coordinator
- Attending LGBTQ+ Resource Center events
- Responsibilities will include networking, organizing resources, developing at least two programs and writing or co-authoring at least two pieces for publication on social media or other forms of communication by the LGBTQ+ Resource Center every semester
- As a member of the LGBTQ+ Resource Center staff, also greeting students and community members,
- Assisting with Center programming
- Referring visitors to resources, and other similar duties as needed.
