  • Reinforce foundational concepts in digital camera systems, photographic composition, and post-processing
  • Integrate Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom, into course activities and workflows
  • Remain current with photography industry software, DSLR and mirrorless workflows, lighting technology, equipment, and emerging trends

Student Learning & Assessment:

  • Utilize established learning outcomes and assessment measures to evaluate student achievement
  • Monitor and accurately document student progress
  • Provide regular, timely, and constructive feedback that supports student skill development
  • Participate in instructional evaluation processes
  • Continuously improve course content, instructional methods, and assessment strategies based on student feedback and current industry practices

Collaboration & Professional Engagement:

  • Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to support the development and success of CWI’s Digital Photography program
  • Read, understand, and adhere to the Business Letter of Teaching Appointment and Faculty Expectations
  • Maintain accurate instructional and student records and meet established college deadlines
  • Contribute to program and team goals through additional related responsibilities as assigned

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Courses will be taught at CWI’s Canyon County Campus, where the Digital Photography program is currently located
  • Teaching assignments may be scheduled Monday through Friday during the day or evening, or on Saturdays
  • Course assignments and schedules are based on departmental and enrollment needs
  • Successful candidates must reside in Idaho by their first day of employment with CWI

What We’re Looking For:

  • Three (3) years of full-time professional experience in digital photography
  • Strong knowledge of digital camera systems, photographic composition, and post-processing techniques
