The Student Activities & Involvement Assistant plays a key role in creating an engaging campus environment by supporting student events, organizations, and outreach efforts. This position provides administrative support, assists with event planning and execution, connects students with campus resources, and helps promote opportunities that enhance student involvement and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Student Engagement & Campus Events

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and supporting campus events, traditions, orientation activities, and student engagement initiatives from setup through event completion.
  • Staff events and information tables, welcome participants, and help ensure activities are organized, safe, and successful.

Provide Student & Organization Support

  • Serve as a resource for students and registered clubs by answering questions, scheduling appointments with Student Success Coaches, and assisting with organization recognition, renewals, and engagement portal updates.
  • Deliver friendly, responsive customer service through phone, email, and front desk interactions.

Promote Student Involvement

  • Help increase student participation by creating and distributing promotional materials, supporting digital communications, and assisting with outreach efforts that connect students to campus programs and resources.


What We Are Looking For: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in providing event support preferred.
