Are you passionate about helping students navigate their educational journey? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective students, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions, registration, and enrollment process.
This role is an excellent entry point into higher education and offers the opportunity to build valuable experience in student services, customer support, and administrative operations while making a meaningful impact on student success.

Student Support & Front‑Line Service:

Serve as the primary point of contact for new and continuing students, providing admissions, registration, and general college information
Administrative, Records & Data Processing Support:

Maintain student records, including registration changes, major updates, name changes, and forms intake
Outreach, Organization & Collaboration:

Assist with recruitment initiatives, including preparation of large mailings, newsletters, high school outreach, and other admissions strategies
Work Environment & Flexibility:

Proficiency with computer applications, including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Additional Instructions For Applicants:
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
