Lead Mission‑Critical Enterprise Systems as an ERP Architect at CWI!
Are you an experienced ERP professional ready to shape the future of administrative systems at a fast‑growing institution? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an ERP Architect to oversee the performance, reliability, and strategic evolution of the CWI ERP system—ensuring secure, efficient, and high‑quality technical operations across the college. We are looking for a technical professional with a genuine desire to help develop and own a complex, highly interconnected system.
At CWI, you’ll play a central role in implementing enterprise‑level improvements, optimizing backend business processes, supporting major system upgrades, and partnering with teams to deliver technological solutions that drive student and institutional success. Ellucian Colleague ERP is the authoritative source for student, HR, and financial data at CWI, driving identity and data flows across all downstream platforms. You will develop deep working knowledge of Colleague, the Ellucian Ethos integration platform, and higher education business processes across student, HR, and finance domains. This is an opportunity for a skilled technical leader to influence long‑term ERP strategy at a rapidly expanding community college.

Collaborate with team members on configuration changes, functionality deployments, testing, change management, and training

Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and IIS, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining web-hosted APIs and application services

Strong MS SQL Server proficiency covering schema understanding, query writing, performance diagnosis, and routine database maintenance

Experience with directory services and identity lifecycle management, preferably Active Directory, with a solid grasp of how authoritative source systems drive downstream account provisioning across enterprise platforms
Additional Instructions For Applicants:
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
