What the opportunity involves:

Our Health Business, Cleanaway Daniels APS, is Australia’s leading Plastic Recovery Facility provider of reusable sharps containers, making a safer, sustainable future possible for the healthcare sector.

We are approaching an exciting time of growth and have a pivotal role for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Health Services, APS, Business Unit based at St Mary’s, NSW. Your contribution will be instrumental in our financial operations.

This is an all-rounder role, where you’ll support and undertake various accounting duties and partner with business stakeholders to meet agreed objectives.  


Responsibilities:

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Assist Commercial Business Partners with all monthly reporting requirements.
  • Assist Commercial Business Partners with all budget reporting requirements.
  • Assist with stocktake and cycle count.
  • Assist with SAP update and maintenance.
  • Oversight of intercompany accounts.      
  • Supplier and customer reconciliations.
  • Contribute and assist other team members with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer service.
  • Assist with production matters and other Ad Hoc Duties.

 

About you:

You have successfully completed university in accounting and finance and are ready to step into your accounting career. Or, you have 1-2 years of experience in an entry-level capacity.  

You are an excellent verbal and written communicator, and able to communicate to different levels of management.  

You have demonstrated attention to detail.
