Your Impact

As Senior Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a portfolio of strategic supply chain initiatives that drive long-term value across the business.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll orchestrate complex, multi-year programs - ensuring they are prioritised, sequenced and executed in line with commercial outcomes. You’ll work across Supply Chain, Commercial, Digital and external partners to bring structure, clarity and momentum to a growing portfolio of transformation initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, you’ll be at the centre of how major programs are mobilised and delivered - representing initiatives to senior leadership and steering committees to provide clear insights, manage trade-offs and drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of strategic supply chain programs, from ideation to implementation
  • Prioritise and sequence initiatives based on value, dependencies and business alignment
  • Establish and mobilise cross-functional program teams to deliver against clear objectives
  • Develop and refine business cases, including cost, benefit and trade-off analysis
  • Track and report on financial and operational outcomes, ensuring delivery against targets
  • Manage risks, dependencies and scope across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Continuously optimise the program roadmap based on progress, insights and changing priorities
  • Partner closely with Finance to validate assumptions and align to budgets and planning cycles
  • Drive governance across the portfolio, providing clear visibility on progress, risks and performance
  • Foster strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners to enable delivery

About You

You’re a strategic and delivery-focused leader who thrives in complex environments. You enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and driving initiatives through to execution.
You’ll bring:
  • Experience managing multiple projects or large, complex programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess value, costs and trade-offs
  • Confidence working across functions to align priorities and drive outcomes
  • Proven ability to mobilise teams and deliver initiatives against scope, timeline and budget
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to managing risks and dependencies
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to influence at different levels
  • Understanding of operational or supply chain environments (manufacturing exposure is advantageous)
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes
  • A degree qualification is valued but not essential
