Your Impact
You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and high-quality tax compliance and reporting and tax advice across the Asahi Beverages Group. Operating within a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment, you will contribute to the integrity of our tax processes across Australia and key international markets.
You will partner closely with the broader Tax team and stakeholders across Finance and the business to ensure compliance obligations are met, risks are proactively managed, and tax positions are well understood and documented. You will support on Australian and international tax compliance and advisory work, transfer pricing, and financial reporting, offering the opportunity to build deep technical expertise while contributing to a high-performing Group Finance function.
You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance tax processes through automation, data analytics, and strengthened governance frameworks. Your work will directly enable better decision-making, improve compliance outcomes, and support Asahi’s broader financial and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation and lodgement of income tax returns across Australia and some foreign jurisdictions (New Zealand and UK)

Support ATO compliance activities, including lodgements, portal maintenance, and liaison to resolve queries

Assist with preparation and review of indirect tax obligations including BAS, FBT, withholding tax and other indirect taxes (eg duty and land tax) across different jurisdictions

Support technical tax compliance including CFC, IDS, thin capitalisation, hybrids and RTP disclosures

Assist with transfer pricing documentation (TP reports, CbCR, master file, local file) and support global reporting obligations (e.g. Japan reporting, Pillar 2)

Contribute to month-end tax calculations, budgets, forecasts and statutory reporting, including audit support

Provide support on a range of tax advisory matters (e.g. M&A, TOFA, cross-border transactions) and engage external advisors where required

Drive governance, risk management and process improvement initiatives, ensuring audit readiness and opportunities for automation and enhanced data analytics
About You

Tertiary qualification and CA / CPA qualified (or working towards)

Previous experience in corporate tax or professional services firm environment

Broad, all-round exposure across multiple tax disciplines, comfortable operating across a diverse range of tax matters

Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify issues and deliver accurate, insight-driven solutions

Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines

Collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement focus across processes, systems, and personal development

Experience with ERP systems, data tools or automation is advantageous
