Job Summary: |
The Graduate Assistant (GA) for Donor Relations and Stewardship will contribute to the overall mission and functioning of the Donor Relations and Stewardship office. The GA will support the Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager in major giving, annual fund, and sustaining alumni stewardship. The GA will also play an instrumental role in creating and implementing stewardship plans. The role serves to support the UWF Foundation’s mission by encouraging private support and stewarding those gifts in a manner consistent with the spirit and intent of the donors. The GA will work under the direction of the Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager.

Minimum Qualifications: | Applicants must be a graduate student at the University of West Florida and pursuing work related to the student’s graduate studies program. Candidate must be very organized and capable of managing multiple time-sensitive tasks and deliverables in a dynamic environment. The candidate must be open to learning new tools and skills as the position uses proprietary software. |
Position Qualifications: | ● Capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently. ● Excellent interpersonal skills. ● Excellent customer service skills. ● Strong writing and grammar skills. ● Ability to take initiative and develop ideas to help further the goals of the Division. ● Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ● Able to manipulate web-based applications like Google Suite, Zoom, etc. |
