The Opportunity
Cleanaway Riverstone (Scanline) collects and recycles used cooking oil. This product is then used for feed lots, ingredients for animal food, and the production of bio-fuel.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised person to coordinate the scheduling of our collection services. Working within our experienced operations team, this role will be critical in ensuring that daily services are completed efficiently and within agreed standards, contractual obligations and regulations. Additionally, you will also.
- Review driver notes daily, adjust schedules when required, reallocate incomplete collections, and maintain proactive customer communication.
- Working with the customer service and sales team to ensure new customer requirements, collections, and equipment replacement are understood and relayed to the operations team.
- Review collection frequencies ensuring maximisation of customer capacity.
- Schedule out going stock sales and manage stock levels
- Allocate fleet usage and maintenance.
- Managing training requirements of drivers and other staff members.
- Maintain KPI reporting.
About You
You will have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills and pride yourself on your ability to deliver value to customers. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, you will bring the following skills to the position:
- Proven experience in the Transport and Logistics environment
- Knowledge and experience managing GPS tracking systems
- Proven ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to follow through
- Good problem-solving skills demonstrated in a logistics / scheduling role
- Experience using multi-disciplinary software systems to understand and analyse data to aid decision making.
