The Liquid Technical Services (LTS) division of Cleanaway services much more than your standard collection of household waste, it opens an abundance of opportunities. Our team supports the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste, including industrial waste, grease trap waste, oily waters and used mineral and cooking oils in packaged and bulk forms.
The Opportunity
The true focus of this Territory Manager role is to work closely with our customers, to identify and create bespoke waste solutions with complex technical requirements. Through both retaining and growing a profitable portfolio as well as proactively establish new market opportunities, building a robust new business pipeline whilst achieving strong contract maintenance is pivotal to success.
Additionally, you will also;
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and new prospective customers predominantly within Toowoomba with an exposure to regional locations
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and major resigns being negotiated
- Drive our sustainable approach to waste management in new areas to support growth initiatives
- Proactively manage prospects and customer relationships through the sales cycle
- Provide reporting on financial and sales performance
About You
Along with your ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with customers, you will also be able to identify and solve customer challenges through sustainable solutions. You will also bring:
- Excellent B2B relationship skills with a proven track record building and retaining existing business
- Experience and understanding of technical details, and a willingness to learn about chemistry in the waste industry
- Effective commercial acumen, solid negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience using (CRM) Customer Relationship Management software and intermediate MS Office skills would be advantageous
- A collaborative communication style with an outstanding new business/sales track record
- Prior experience held in chemical or allied industries e.g. Transport, oil, and gas
- The ability to work autonomously, well organised, self-motivated, with outstanding presentation skills and highly developed verbal and written communication skills
