Your Impact
We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our high performing team and take ownership of the Sutherland Shire Territory. In this fast paced environment you’ll drive growth, distribution, and brand presence across our well renowned multi-beverage portfolio in the Independent Retail Channel, building strong customer partnerships and delivering standout execution.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver financial sales and execution targets by implementing Asahi’s Tailored Service Packages (TSPs) and agreed commercial activities.
- Sell in business initiatives, trading terms, pricing, and compliance standards to maximise in-store execution.
- Build and maintain core sales drivers in outlets, ensuring strong ROI on investment and flawless execution of initiatives.
- Monitor execution performance and identify gaps or opportunities through structured in-trade surveys and data insights.
- Develop strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding business needs and maximising time spent on up-selling, cross-selling and brand building.
- Maintain effective call coverage across the territory and ensure CRM data is accurate, timely and reflective of real-time activity.
- Review outlet performance to identify growth opportunities and work with internal teams (including customer contact centre) to resolve operational issues.
- Drive personal capability development, including commercial skills, product and industry knowledge, and actively role-model Asahi values and behaviours.
About You
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse customer profitability, interpret market insights, and build data-driven business cases.
- Skilled in territory planning, setting clear goals, and executing structured, planned approaches to exceed sales targets.
- Highly effective selling skills
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities with a proven ability to negotiate, influence, and close commercial agreements.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organised and efficient, with strong time-management skills
- Committed to ongoing self-development and effective self-management
- Proficient in key computer applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and sales/CRM systems.
