Own the performance of electrical and control systems across packaging, lifting equipment availability and reliability where it matters most on the line. You shape how maintenance is planned, executed and improved—turning breakdowns into learnings and standards into consistent practice. Each day balances hands-on problem solving with developing technicians and operators into confident machine specialists. Your work connects directly to safe, reliable production and successful new product delivery.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own electrical and control systems across assigned packaging equipment, ensuring availability, reliability and safe maintenance execution
  • Develop and continuously refine maintenance plans, work instructions and SOPs to optimise scheduling and improve equipment performance
  • Diagnose complex technical issues, acting as the escalation point for breakdowns and guiding root cause analysis through PDCA, RCA and 5 Whys
  • Enable capability uplift by coaching technicians and operators, building machine-specific skills and progressing autonomous operations standards
  • Support new product and capex implementation, ensuring schematics, SOPs and disaster recovery requirements are completed and embedded
 
ABOUT YOU
  • Trade qualification in Electrical
  • Proven experience in packaging or industrial production maintenance, with strong exposure to high-speed production environments
  • Ability to apply electrical and control systems knowledge to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve complex equipment issues
  • You think logically and analytically, using structured problem-solving methods to get to root causes
  • Clear & confident communication skills, guiding others and providing constructive feedback that builds capability on the floor
  • You work with precision and discipline, maintaining high attention to detail while consistently prioritising safety
