The Opportunity

Kick-start your career in telephony and software development as a Junior Telephony Developer, where you'll work alongside experienced professionals to deliver innovative communication solutions. In this hands-on role, you'll help implement and support telephony software, contribute to process automation, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve services that make a real impact across the organisation. Key Selection Criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to implement, test and support software solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of PHP and web APIs, with foundational skills in JavaScript, CSS and contemporary front-end technologies.
  • Basic understanding of telephony platforms (e.g. Cisco Unified Communications Manager) and software that integrates with telephony systems.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare documentation, provide technical guidance and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
